BLS/CPR (Basic Life Support)

Cardiopulmonary resuscitation, commonly known as CPR, is an emergency procedure performed in an effort to manually preserve intact brain function until further measures are taken to restore spontaneous blood circulation and breathing in a person who is in cardiac arrest. It is indicated in those who are unresponsive with no breathing or abnormal breathing, for example, agonal respirations. ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support)

Advanced Cardiovasculer Life Support (ACLS) is an advanced, instructor-led classroom course that highlights the importance of team dynamics and communication, systems of care and immediate post-cardiac-arrest care. It also covers airway management and related pharmacology. In this course, skills are taught in large, group sessions and small, group learning and testing stations where case-based scenarios are presented. PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)

PALS is a classroom, video-based, Instructor-led course using a series of simulated pediatric emergencies to reinforce the important concepts of a systematic approach to pediatric assessment, basic life support, PALS treatment algorithms, effective resuscitation and team dynamics. The goal of the Pediatric Advanced Life Support Course is to improve the quality of care provided to seriously ill or injured children, resulting in improved outcomes. FIRST AID

IV Therapy Certification

Intravenous therapy may be used to correct electrolyte imbalances, to deliver medications, for blood transfusion, or as fluid replacement to correct, for example, dehydration. BABYSITTER'S TRAINING

The Babysitter's Training provides youth who are planning to babysit with the knowledge and skills necessary to safely and responsibly give care for children and infants. This training will help participants to develop leadership skills; learn how to develop a babysitting business, keep themselves and others safe and help children behave; and learn about basic child care and basic first aid. CNA (Certified Nursing Assistant) Training

Through our parent company, Lifework Education, students will learn the essential skills required to fulfill the responsibilities that comprise the full spectrum of patient care, including gathering vital medical information, maintaining a safe, clean environment, assisting patients with daily activities, and communicating vital health information about a patient’s condition to supervising RNs and LPNs and other medical staff.
